After one of your previous Lost comments (either here or Facebook....can't remember which) about Ben being the good guy, I kept posing that possibility to David, and he refused to think that Ben is the good guy.

The Fairytale Girl inside of me wants to believe that everyone has a good guy side to them, so I'm holding onto that possibility with you, however this week surely doesn't make it a strong possibility.

It's a tough call, because I do believe Ben tells the truth sometimes. He and Widmore seem uniformly ruthless, which means that it all comes down to the end justifying the means. Since we don't know what that entails yet, there's no way to know. And we probably won't find out until season 6...
