Disturbing Television

I want to know the absolute most disturbing thing you've ever seen on television. Something that has stayed with you long after you've watched...

I was watching a nature show about elephants. They are smart and communal, and matriarchal, so I thought it would be interesting.

It was about how the elephants had to leave their homeland and go off in search of water. There was a baby elephant there too. The big group of them goes off, being led by the oldest female.

Then suddenly, one of the male elephants kicked the baby elephant in the head! I was horrfied. Then they kicked him again...and again...and again as he ran after them, trying desperately to keep up.
I started sobbing and had to change the channel as the narrator explained that the herd couldn't care for an infant in their current state. Apparently they were saving the baby elephant from starvation.

A few minutes later I had to turn it back on to see if they had taken pity on the poor little elephant. They hadn't. When I turned back, the herd was gone and the baby elephant had been unable to keep up. He was surrounded by hyenas. I could not watch.
Needless to say, I laid off the nature shows for a while. That kind of stuff never happens on shark shows.

I remember very little about this, because I was quite small when I saw it... In fact, why my mother let me watch was beyond me.
But it was a movie about concentration camps and it showed the people being sent into the showers and then into the ovens to be burned... Maybe even showed footage of people beginning to be burned.
That's all I remember about it, but it was probably 25 years ago and I still have a clear picture of the showers and the ovens in my head.

Holy Crap! That is crazy.
I imagine I'd remember that forever too...
