This week on: What's My Problem THIS Time?!?
Norovirus.
That's right, I have Norovirus, which I guess is like saying I have a bad case of flu. The doctor checked in my ears, eyes, and my breathing and stuff. Happily, my blood pressure was okay even though I stopped taking my pills soon after I stopped keeping food down. She asked a bunch of questions about if my pets were sick and whether or not I've traveled out of state recently. I told her about Cindy having Legionaires, but the doc says unless I shared a soda with her or something, it's nearly impossible to "catch" it. Even though my doc appointment was at 8:25am, and I got there on time, I still had to wait almost an hour.
So for $20, I got an exam and a note excusing me from work for the rest of the week.
Too bad too, because I kind of need the money.
I've decided to go ahead and build a website, and got hooked up with a designer with whom I'm going to begin discussing prices and stuff. I just want something simple and straightforward that will show people how awesome I am, give them a free first chapter of both books, tell them where to find me online, and where to buy the books. I'm hoping to spend less than $200 for the set up and fees and design and everything. That may not be reasonable, but it's what I can afford.
In spendy news, I saw a cool iPod Speaker on HBO.com. Of course I bought it, thinking I could use it for parties and stuff. I didn't really realize how tiny it was. How tiny do you think it is from the photo on the site (above)?
I know! Tiny, right?

but i kinda figured because the jack for the ipod is half the size of the speaker.
does it work well?

See, I didn't realize that was the jack, I thought it was the thing you lean the iPod against.
It's awfully cute though...
