I can't believe I'm still sick

I'm sending H to the grocery store alone for the first time. He never remembers what stuff we buy even when it's stuff we buy every single time. So I'm making him a long and precise list. I can't really remember what order the aisles are in the store, so he might have to backtrack a little.

Bottom line is, I'm still not well enough to go out. I thought I was feeling better around 5pm yesterday; I planned to go to work today. But then we ordered food and I didn't keep any bit of it down. Then I woke up this morning and was sick again. Fie!!! So I'm not at work today, yet again.

I was so tired last night, I didn't even stay up for the new Daily Show, which I am watching now. I went to bed at 10pm and slept until about an hour ago. I'll be glad when this is over. I'm just wondering if I should see a doc, because if Cindy gave me Legionaires Disease, I'd rather know about it sooner than later.


Some of you know this, but surely some don't. I have never seen a James Bond movie all the way through. Never really wanted to. I don't care for action movies as a rule, (though I enjoyed The Matrix, Die Hard, the Bourne Identity, etc) and think James Bond is what a 12 year old boy thinks it's like to be a spy. Why am I bringing this up? Because H has talked me into watching Casino Royale--the new one. I'm hoping I will like it. I'll likely end up watching it sometime this week.

Colbert and Colmes is cracking me up.

Its a good place to start. You are far more likely to enjoy that movie than the other Bond movies. Though there are some that I would recommend because they aren't quite as misogynistic. They all have some level of misogyny though.

Most people don't like George Lazenby from On Her Majesty's Secret Service but he does give an excellent peformance if you can get over the fact that he's not Roger Moore or Sean Connery.

O.H.M.S.S. is an amazing story. It's a fully fleshed out idea with a solid plot, and Bond really falls in Love. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Hope you're feeling better. Cecil is also useless at the grocery store. I can write a detailed list, complete with diagrams and drawings, and he'll come home with Doritos, pepperoni, and beer.
