The Garden, and my new glasses.
I got my new glasses today. For the first time ever, I got them in an hour. Except they cut one lense wrong and will have to fix them in a week or so, so I still have to go back. But I did pick out my frames this afternoon and am wearing them now. They are Vogue frames, silver with tiny flowers on the sides. I hadn't realized how much my vision had changed in the last year and a half. I'm being extra careful with my eyes because of the diabetes. I don't think I'm brave enough to function as a blind person. Then again, you never know what you're capable of until Life plants it's boot in your ass, you know?
I was going to wait and mention this after Cat's Apprentice comes out next week, but I'm too stoked, after having reread my selections in it last night:
