Books, birthdays and Super Foods
First things first, I must wish a splendidly Happy Birthday to the lovely
princezna.
Haven't heard back from Wolfman Mac at Nightmare SINema. I hope he was serious about having me on the show as a guest. I'll be bummed otherwise. This week is my skit about the book, I think they are showing Santa Claus Conquers the Martians.
I made a pasta salad for dinner last night, Italian style with salami and pepperoni sliced thick and chunky. It had yellow peppers, grape tomatoes, english cukes and was served on a bed of baby spinach.
We're trying to work more super foods into our diet. We started with fish, tomatoes, and tree nuts. Now we're doing yogurt, spinach, and oats. I'd forgotten how delicious honey nut cheerios are. Mmmmm...and even better with vanilla rice milk.
Got my mitts on the new Chuck Paluinik (sp?) book, Snuff. Hoping to get some time to read that on my day off tomorrow. I have to read it quick since I'm only borrowing it.
Diary of the Dead is on On Demand this month. I am told that the acting sucks and the CGI is terrible. I wonder though, if that's enough to keep me from enjoying a Romero zombie flick. So long as John Leguizamo isn't in it, I think we're cool. I still say Land of the Dead was a crashing disappointment. I own it and everything, but it was disappointing.
