Why does Bush want to kill wolves?

I try not to watch much news these days (fake news doesn't count) because it makes me feel so helpless and disgusted at what is going on in our country, and the world. I don't feel like I can do a damn thing about it, and that makes me very sad. Sometimes though, there is an atrocity that we can actually do something about. Case in point, the slaughter of endangered gray wolves. While I don't know all the facts here, I'm pretty sure using aerial snipers against endangered animals is wrong. Maybe one of you knows why they want to kill the wolves. Better yet, maybe some of you will want to stop it. We thought H's fam might not make it to the wedding, but it turns out that they can. I haven't decided yet if I want to cook for the rehearsal dinner or if we want to go out. I kind of want to cook for H's family but don't want to stress myself out with too much work. I think I will probably make a pot of chili.

I also don't know what hotel to put H's fam in. Honore and her step bro Gene are staying with us, but the parents need a hotel. I'm thinking either Holiday Inn express or Best Western. I was going to make reservations for everyone at Best Western, but it doesn't look like anyone else will need a hotel at all.

Thanks for heads up on the wolves. I sent a letter. I think the standard line is that wolves need to be killed because they're killing too many game animals. Let's not go after the real problem of over-population in humans and over-development of western lands that's causing elk herds to diminish. It's those damned wolves.

I think it will be too stressful to cook the rehearsal dinner yourself. I know I was about crazy by that time, myself. We had our rehearsal dinner at my parent's house, but made my uncle cook it (pig roast.) Maybe you could cook for them the night before. Or sometime later. But you're the bride, and need to avoid as much stress as possible, because too much comes your way as it is.
