I brought you some flours

I left the house for the first time in four days today. Good for me, I know. I'm slowly trying to climb out from under this depression, so we shall see how I do.

I finally saw Stranger Than Fiction tonight. I was very impressed both with the film itself, and in Ferrell's amazing performance. I am delighted to know that he can act, you know, for real. It's a life affirming, very funny and touching watch. Ha, get it? Watch? Well, you'd only get it if you actually saw the film, which you should, because it was great. Can't wait to get my free dubbed DVD from an unnameable source.
As it happens, this was also the perfect movie for me to watch because of my bizarre preoccupation with me dying because my life suddenly got good. I'm feeling a bit better about all that.

Rather than finish my new chapter, I decided to watch cheesy wedding shows on TV. Some of these couples crack me up, if they're fighting this much just planning a wedding, wait until real life gets ahold of them! I know what they mean though, some of this wedding crap is really stressful.

As per my post yesterday, I did manage to post a new chapter and break 20K. Yay!

I actually think he's funny sometimes and I do want to watch that movie! I ought to buy it. *nods*

I was surprised how good he was in it, too...unfortunately, it looks like he's back the same ol' usual thing in Blades Of Glory.

I'm going to assume he was contractually obligated to make that film.

It doesn't surprise me in the least that you dug that film... seems like quite the [livejournal.com profile] wednes movie to me! And I loved it, too, in case you don't recall me saying so. Saw it twice in the thee-ater, even.

Yeah, it was very life affirming and fun.
Plus I'm just so glad to know that Wil Ferrell can act for real.

I can't wait to own it.
