Or else what? Exactly.
Don't really know what happened with my last poll. It wouldn't let anyone play, then when I tried to fix it, it erased the whole post. Whatever. Now I shall never know the regional divide line for "slug bug" versus "punch buggy". So I'll just go on record as saying that anyone who prefers "punch buggy" over "slug bug" is some kind of freak and is not allowed in my car. Since I don't actually have a car, it's moot.
H and I went to see Zodiac today. There were many good things about this film. Great cast and excellent performances therein. I love Robert Downey Jr and would watch him even if he only made romance movies. Okay, maybe not romance but you get the idea--I likes him. Zodiac is highly accurate historically and the movie makes good use of the period stuff without making it funny or throwing in any campy humor. There were 2-3 really horrifying murder scenes. Scary, scary stuff. I have to say though, I expected more focus on the killer and less on the people catching him. As such, this movie felt every bit the 2 1/2 hours that it was. I'm not saying it was bad, but you could have shaved off 30 minutes and still had a compelling story. I just think it dragged a bit, especially if you know your history and know you're not going to get your killer at the end.
Speaking of movies, we saw the Grindhouse Trailer, the long one. That thing is gonna be sweet. And 300 is gonna play at the IMAX. We may just have to get in on that.
Our outside door buzzer has been broken since before Christmas. Shortly after all the buzzers in the building broke, somebody broke the lock in the door. As of 5 days ago, the lock has finally been fixed but the buzzers are all still broken. This means that the door will only remain fixed for a few days before some lazy a-hole breaks it so they don't have to let their guests in manually. It's pretty POS. The idea of buying some sort of permanent residence is looking better and better. I just don't know how we'd ever come up with a down payment for such a thing.

After picking up the computer from your apt. I was buckling up and someone knocked on my car window. It made me jump a mile. Someone was asking me where the rental office was. Luckily Ian knew. How weird... this guy parked his car and got out and knocked on my car window. I mean who can't drive around and find the rental office, most apartments have a sign that says something to that effect...no?

Our complex is set up weird so if you come in the other entrance, the leasing office is hard to find. But there are balloons and stuff...I mean jeez.
