Well whaddaya know?

In case anyone is interested, one of my short stories is finally up at Scars Publications. If you scroll down the zillion writers to the F's, you'll see me. Click on me and you can read the final draft of In the Closet, a scary story about a boy with a really annoying problem.

So yeah, I'm E-published beyond my own self e-publishing.

take that, guernica.

Woo! This is great news. So do they offer you anything for doing this?

There's a paperback anthology coming out in May. If they pick me to be in that, I'll get a cut of the sales. If not, I'll get their thanks and a request to submit again. It's pretty small time, but should be a nice 'portfolio' builder.

Congrats, dear. You should be proud and excited.

Also, I got your voicemail last night and am trying to see what I can come up with for you. I'll call you this evening.

w00t, dude! Awesome!

I just read it and I'm a little wired now. Geesh, I'm glad there are no closets in the office ...

LOL

Thanks!

Direct link to the story.

This, I'm sure, is a stupid question. And I don't know if I'm even allowed to ask. How was Misty in the closet? Was she there to surprise Jonas/the narrator? Something like that? Or was she there because the narrator kidnapped her, put her in the closet and forgot all about her?

The narrator doesn't really have a brother, it's him. So yes, the narrator put the girl in the closet. Your big clue is the phone call from Mom.
