I have to find a local band to play some (choke) Pink Floyd covers in the lobby of my work.

I don't think I know a band who does Floyd covers...much less a local one.

Any suggestions?

I can cover or more likely remix some Pink Floyd for you. I'm really awesomely shitty at music covers. But keep in mind it sounds nothing like the actuallsong when it's done. Sorry I can't play there live for you, we're touring the West Coast right now.

WHY do you need Pink Floyd covers for your lobby? Is THE WALL II coming out? Or is it the Prequel - THE BRICK?

No Genuis, I work at an indie theatre, so we bring back older filmsd all the time. PF the Wall is what we refer to as a "modern classic" and is part of a series of them.

Our promotions chick thought it would be clever and cool to have a pink floyd cover band. I thought that was a lame and stupid idea thought up by someone who obviously knows very little about pink floyd. Yet for whatever reason, I in charge of decor, and finding the band.
