Just to note: I thought the Anthology would consist of Vegan murder stories, but I find myself mistaken. In light of this, the whole "I know you're not Vegan" comment becomes irrelevant.

Hopefully, this will be a great opportunity for word of mouth success. You should ask your friends to pool their money to print one of your favorite works for Christmas - then you could put it up for sale at Amazon.

Just an idea.

I thought for awhile about self publication with LuLu or Kinko's or some such. In the end, I decided that I was looking toward publication as validation of my talent (if any). I wouldn't get that from self publication unless throngs and throngs of people loved the book--which I suppose is entirely possible. Still, I would much rather hook up with a small press (even one like this, who uses LuLu) just so I can feel "chosen".

Then again, there's no telling how much longer i can wait to be published before I just snap.
