Despite earlier reports, Snakes on a Plane is, in fact, playing @ Showcase Thursday night (that's tomorrow, bitches) at 10pm. We should probably get tix in advance online so we're sure to get seats.

I would be with you in a second. None of my friends will go see this movie with meeeeee. (It looks stupid! It's so dumb! Why? Why?) aaaaah! This is not something I can see by myself. Woe. There are places around here doing it at 10 tomorrow (how are they getting away with that?) and I want to go so badly.

This summer I have noticed that many movies are premeiring with 10pm shows a day early. That's when we saw Superman Returns also.

Duh, of course it's stupid. Stupid in the coolest way EVER. Thing is, almost every action movie is stupid and unbeleivable, so why not make it a fucking awesome B movie instead of a PG13 pile of crap?

Nobody is "getting away" with anything. The 10pm shows the day before the official release of the movie are part of the marketing and distribution.

That is relatively new though. As recently as 3 years ago, theatres were not allowed to have shows that ended before midnight on the release date. Certain studios/distributors were hard core about it, even to the point of sending out spies.

Just wanted to point out that "Parseltongue, Motherfucker, do you speak it?" is the funniest fucking thing I've ever seen. Wish I'd thought of it. :D
