This is getting old.
The job "interview" (receptionist at a dance boutique/studio) was a waste of fucking time.
Even if I don't speak your language, I can still discern a derisive snort when I hear one.
I realize I am not the usual body type of someone working in a dance studio.
But you know what?
Let's say you are an average looking person, and you're thinking about dance lessons. There's a new studio opening up, and they have ads with pictures of amazing looking women, made even more amazing by air brushing and beautiful costumes and shoes. You go in to ask for information, and yet another perfect looking woman tells you about the many dances and singles events they have and shows you pictures of many perfect looking people looking fabulous. You leave, thinking you'll return after you tone up a little, lose ten pounds and maybe get a hair cut. Six months go by and you forget all about it.
OR
You're that same average person. Except this time when you go into the studio for information, you see me,
wednes there, looking like her usual snappy self and telling you that if she can dance, you certainly can. You sign up, meet the man of your dreams, take all his money and get your own dance studio. Isn't that a nice story? Well, you can forget it, because I didn't get the job being the receptionist at the dance studio.
I put "interview" in quotes because they didn't actually interview me. They didn't ask anything at all except was my name really Wednesday and did I bring a pen with me. I'm annoyed with the place, and more annoyed with my job developer, who really should be doing better by me, IMHO.
Anyway...Frown.

But this was a samba style studio for adults, so I didn't forsee any of the problems I had as a kid. Of course, there are always more problems I didn't forsee...

If I lived in your area you'd have to stop me from punching that person in the damn face.

But you can never prove it.
What I don't understand is that if that's what they want, why don't they advertise for a dancer or model-type. That is legal, at least.

But in a job situation, there's always that doubt about whether it's the wieght or something else.
