Wha--

LJ sucks today.
I can't seem to reply to comments from my Email for some reason.

No more ants in my kitchen, so that is good.

Here are some movies you all should see right away, if you haven't yet:

ahhh...sweet sweet Dawn of the Dead Ultimate boxset :D

And Zoolander!

Hansel, he's so HOT right now!

Yeah...

You know, I wasn't going to buy the Ultimate set. I just thought it was overkill (pun intended). But then I got it as a gift and it has been impressing the hell out of me every since.

Haven't seen a one of em.

[identity profile] wednes.livejournal.com 2006-03-11 01:14 am (UTC)(link)
Really?

Not a single one?

I don't mind telling you that I'm horrified. Get off that damn computer and go rent Alien at once!!

But...I can't...I'm at work. You know...working and stuff.

[identity profile] wednes.livejournal.com 2006-03-11 06:05 am (UTC)(link)
Oh yeah...I've heard of that.
No wonder you're behind in your movie watching.

Behind on my movie watching, sleep, social life, car repairs, etc... Basically everything except school, only because I am forcing that to go first over work.

I commend your self discipline.

Yeah, I haven't been able to comment/reply via email either. It always gives me an error message.

LJ. I swear it was designed by Russians.

Somehow I think if that were true, it would work better. Or else they'd be working 36 hours a day (yeah, I know) until it was fixed.

Dude! My journal shows your current mood and current music under today, but with out today's heading. The rest of your post is down below someone elses for the previous day!

Lj is so damn wonky lately. I'm gonna have to send then a strongly worded Email.

I have serious Pit and the Pendulum issues; I heard a tape of the story when I was in third grade or something and was flipping petrified. I spent nights and nights barely sleeping because I was convinced a pendulum was going to pop out of the ceiling and cut me to bits.

(This was thanks to the same grandfather who thought The Shining was a perfectly acceptable movie for kids under ten. I think I was too little though, since I wasn't afraid at all though the bit we saw before my grandma came in the room and freaked out.)

Yeah...I think everyone has that one scary thing they saw or heard far too young and they never forgot it. I have a buddy who can't watch 'Salem's Lot to this day...
I think Jaws is the movie that terrified me first.

The movie Pit and the Pendulum has a totally different plot than the short story. Vincent Price is damn amazing in it, and the torture device does make an appearance during the terrifying conclusion.
