What the fudge?

Alright dang it,

Where the sam heck is [livejournal.com profile] lirrin???

I was about to order jewelry from her.

Moving on to me, me, me news:
I just got home from my interview a little while ago.
So here's how it went.

I had to fill out a long application first, which I was very glad I remembered to bring a resume with me. I was truthful about my criminal history, because they had me sing a paper saying they would check. Then I almost had a panic attack on my way up these super tall stairs to wait for round one of the interview. But I had some water and felt okay.

The first part of the interview was six technical questions, of which I answered four reasonably correctly. Than were six customer service questions which I aced. But I thought I had done really poorly on the tech questions, and since it's a tech support position I felt really terrible and wanted to run out of there and go home. But I stayed, and it was good that I stayed, because it turns out that I made it to round two. That was one of those long personality tests and then another customer service interview. I think I did well in that one as well. And the cab ride was $25. So there's no way in hell I'd pay for it. If I did, it would be the same as making 1/3 as much money. Fie!!

I'm going to work with my job developing guy to see how they can help me with transportation. The people there seem very cool and freindly, so I imagine there will be folks for me to carpool with eventually. I'm also calling on another job tomorrow just in case this doesn't work out. It's a sweet job though, good wage, full benefits and 401K, and FREE CABLE!

Thank you!

for both the encouragement and the etsy link. I didn't really mena for that to sound like I was only interested in the jewelry. I was pretty stunned to see that line through her name.

The job is at the place I went to, so it is far. But my job developer is looking into low cost options for me, and I'm supposed to also follow up with a guy from the Center for Independent living. It'a amazing how some of these disability programs actually make me feel less disabled; when I first felt like a loser for having to use them.
