While I'm here, I may as well mention that new eps of Battlestar Gallactica are coming soon. Can anyonee confirm if this is a new season or just a continuation of Season 2? Michelle Forbes will likely become much more hatable before she gets her comuppance.

how many seasons of battlestar galactica have there been? that might be something we'd like, if theres not too many seasons to catch up on w/dvds! if they even have them out on dvd! off to check our blockbuster.com queue!

I think only the first season is out on DVD, plus there was a pilot movie. I'm not sure if the new eps next week are the end of season 2 or the beginning of season 3.

But yeah, I was resistive to getting heavy into another damn TV show; but it really is excellent.

It is technically the second half of season 2. Sci Fi likes to play these games by calling it a new season. A habit they got into when they cancelled Farscape after saying there would be another season. However, to my knowledge BSG IS renewed for what technically amounts to a third season (another 20 episodes) after these 10. So there will be at least 30 more episodes.

I remember reading that Michelle was only supposed to be around for a two-parter: presumably last season's cliffhanger and this season's opener.

It seems like it has been forever since there were new epsiodes.

This is completely unrelated, but I'm afraid I have some bad news. I returned from visiting a friend in Chicago and have come down with something. It was a tough decision, but I decided it was a bad idea for me to travel yet again and be up late partying tonight before traveling some more tomorrow and then again on my flight home on Mon. In short, I won't be around for your party tonight.

Sorry. :( I'm really hoping to be able to come back here sometime during the summer, in which case, I hope to see you then.

Dang, that is sucky. Especially since I only had this party because I was asked to and now almost no one is coming. I just hate sitting around amid piles of food and empty chairs waiting for some evidence that I have friends...

But alas, I'm just venting.

I understand dude. My parties are hella fun, but not quite worth risking your health over. Holidays are so stressful and travel-laden, it's no wonder people get sick.

And yes, I do have some tunes and some eatables just waiting for you to enjoy them.

I have not been reading much lately, but I have uploaded much of the CD. The book looks awesome, the title alone was more than enough to pique my interest.

I've been preparing to finish my NaNo novel starting...well, today actually so that's been taking up a ton of time. Plus I got another Harriet Lerner book, so I've dropped everything else since this one is so important. It's FEAR in case you know her work. Trish Gross ('member her?) introduced me to Lerner's work in my senior year and it really has changed the way I think about relationship things.

I do rememeber Trish. I asked Linda Jo about her and Chuck. They're back in Minnesota, and I think she's teaching at Mankato State. He's had cancer in recent years, though I think it's in remission.

The name Harriet Lerner rings a bell, but I'm not really familiar with her. I'll look her up, though.
