I finished that pesky second chapter. Are all of you whom are participating writing your stuff in order? I think I like that when I am rushed like this. Too much jumping around takes up an awful lot of time. It's turning out much different than I'd planned it, and I'm having some difficulty reigning these asshats in. My characters are really pulling every which way. Plus a shost showed up. No big though, because I think Ophelia will make short work of him. I don't want to base a story around a spirit, because that's not my bag. But I like the idea of presenting it as a semi-normal everday experience and never really explaining it. Because shit like that doesn't usually get explained; and it's not the main point of the story.

Anyway, if I write anything else tonight, I won't post about it until later.

I'm not writing in order so far, but since I'm only 1000 words in, that could change. :)

I tried that once and it didn't work well for me. I finished 15 chapters, then wrote the end and felt totally stuck and never finished. It was awful.

Thanks! I never tried writing a novel out of order before, so if nothing else, it will make an interesting experiment. It certainly can't make revising a first draft any HARDER, anyway. :P
