Got LOST?

Spoilery, of course:

Can I just say again, that I love Hurley? He is so right, and such a cool fucking guy. The next Hurley ep will have us find out how his friendship with that skinny, goofy kid disintigrated. It will be damn sad.

So...

Charlie does not appear to be doing any smack yet. Good news.

[livejournal.com profile] uterdic called out that Jin only spoke English in a dream sequence. So he wins TV.
I wonder if Sun has the same "knowing her husband is alive" feeling as Rose.
I'm delighted that Rose's husband actually is alive, and will feel very cheated if they don't get to see eachother by the end of the season.

Of course, everyone on that side of the island (23, oddly enough. Could it be that there are groups in the size of the numbers?) is rife with disease.

Did I miss anything?

In Wednes news, my new outfit for job interviews arrived today. It is okay. I feel very self conscious in it since it is not my usual style of dress. I prefer much easier things, like casual dresses.

I didn't read any of your entry because, like a total shmuck, I FORGOT IT WAS ON. I knew there was something I was supposed to watch at 8pm but totally missed it when browsing the onscreen guide. So I'll have to wait til Saturday and catch the encore. And hope I don't forget again.

Okay, but just so you know...it's on at 9pm.

Wait, I didn't check to see where you are. but here in Michigan, it's on at 9pm.

Oh dear lord. You're in Michigan. That explains it.

There's a conspiracy afoot.

[identity profile] wednes.livejournal.com 2005-10-13 04:43 am (UTC)(link)
What?

Where?

Just because we have Jack Kevorkian and a swank-ass militia doesn't nessesarily mean there is conspiracy afoot.

But...um...WHAT HAVE YOU HEARD?!?

"CLUCK YOU" was priceless!!

I think Sun believes the entire group who set out on the raft is dead, and that's why she's burying the bottle while everyone else is chowing down at the Hurley feast.

Hurley is awesome, but he definitely gets tunnel vision at times. It's good that there are people like Rose around to show him alternate paths and possibilities.

Very little Jack-angst this episode, which is interesting. In the first season, Jack seemed like a guy who had a few issues but was basically stable. The first two episodes of season two had me questioning whether he was really all that stable, and (of course) there's more to his personal issues than was originally revealed. Last night, Jack seemed to be getting back on track, though I questioned his logic in keeping the bunker a secret. I was very glad that he trusted Hurley's judgment as to what should be done with the food.

I think Jack trusting Hurleys choice with the food illustrates that he is the best guy to lead. He made the point earlier that everyone wants me to lead until I make a decision they don't like. So it would have been hypocritical of him not to support Hurley after giving him such a hard job.

You are probably right about Sun. It seems that Shannon didn't press the fact that she saw Walt on the island. I imagine they will get back to that in a week or two.

I also suspect that Jack didn't tell everyone about the bunker because knowing about the button is a pretty enormous responsibility (probably). He martyr in him wouldn't want to burden everyone else. But I'm sure when everyone finds out, it will lead to enormous conflict.
