It's now called "Wednes Presents" Saturday Night.
It's no secret to me that many people live vicariously through me. And why not? Surely my life of debauchery with it's sex, drugs, crime and just general edge-of-life-living would surely be enough to fascinate the average Joe or Jane and keep them interested for months. I have little doubt that my tales of insanity and napping will continue to rivet future generations to their seats, and when my LJ is finally printed and sold, many more people will nap because I have inspired them to.
And this weekend was no different. I'm breaking in my new TV by watching a movie on it. I didn't watch too many movies lately because I can't stand not being able to see red. "Welcome to my world" said H, who has always been colorblind. Actually, he didn't phrase it nearly so rudely as that; but that's H for ya.
I finally watched that movie Sideways. It was excellent. Although a major plotpoint was spoiled by the trailer. That always sucks. It galls me how much money and time they spend on movie marketing when they don't even pretend to be respectful to the viewer while they're making it. That said, I love these subtle comedies with tons of heart and some kind of realistic revelation at the end. And Paul Giamati is the shit.
As tomorrow is Season Premeire Sunday, I made peanut butter cookies. H loves those, plus I will be seeing R and K for the first time in awhile. I see far too little of those two. And as N is also expected to pop by and catch up on his Galactica (damn, I heart that show) we will likely be getting one of those horriffic yet tasty steak pizza's from Domino's. I know it's a health nightmare, but it's also fucking delicious. I also made peanut butter cookies...wait, I already said that. I guess since I made a double batch, it's okay that I tell you twice. H will probably eat the better part of a batch by Monday. H enjoys cookies very much.
I also got a new font, which I used to make this icon of me in my Halloween costume.
If you can't tell what I am, I hate you and you suck.
It's really cool how you can download a font for free and use it in all your programs. Maybe that sounds lame to say, but it really is cool. I also redid all my music lists in itunes since I almost doubled my song collection in the last 2 weeks. I borrowed a bunch of music and downloaded a bit more. Wheee!
