Okay, first Smallville and now Dead Zone.

Would any more of my favorite shows like to take a ginat nose dive in writing quality or perhaps modify the characters to the point where it's an entirely different show?

How does Johnny support himself now that his trust fund is gone?

Why is he interrogating suspects in the police station?

Since when does he go out of his way to "get to the bottom" of crap like this with people he doesn't know.

Plus, I knew it was that stupid girl by 10:12pm.

Dammit.

Dead Zone sucked it after Johnny magically got over Sarah. I know exactly what you mean about "Mysterious girl who looks suspicious but has no lines until the end when it is revealed who the real killer is"

I can support his getting over Sarah after 2 seasons. That makes him look a bit less crazy, but Walt is waaaay to cool about the whole thing.

Well, I disagree with you about the Sarah thing, but I see what you mean. I just miss the "Mythology" of the show, instead of the weekly solve-a-crime thing. That's what screws up Smallville with the Krypto-Monster-of-the-week.

I think what screwed up Smallville was Lana being stupid and a whole season of magic that never really went anywhere and ended up with everyone being back to normal.

It's the "back to normal" aspect that gets to me I think. Like all these kids are attacking eachother and dying, but no one seems even a little fucked up over it. If like 7 or 8 kids died a year at your high school, a lot of people would be screwed up over it. But no...

Plus, I hate Lana and Lois so very much.
Even that red hairded reporter on Dead Zone was less annoying.

I totally LOVE the Lois/Clark relationship on Smallville! That's the only thing that kept me watching last season!

I agree about the reporter on Dead Zone. I miss her.. I HATED Johnnys "Girlfriend" last season. I kept hoping she'd actually get blown away.

Yeah, I would have liked that. But I think they are saving up for Johnny killing Stilson in the last episode of the series. At least I hope they are. Of course now with the SuperIlluminati nonsense, I guess he ain't so evil now. Zzz
