Woooooooooooww!

I just finished reading DaVinci Code, as I may have mentioned earlier. Good stuff.

Then I sidled on over to imdb because I heard that Otm Shank (or Tom Hanks if you're not a raging Simpsons fan) had singed on for the lead in the movie. Well friends, that is only the beginning of the nuttiness and cartoonish super-powered cast of this movie.

Don't beleive me? Click here, bitches!

In other movie news, The Final Conflict is on Tv as we speak. I don't know why it always gets one star. It is not as good as the first Omen, but is still a wonderfully creepy, moody film. It's gruesome and disturbing with a fabulous performance by Sam Neil (in his first American film). Although it is crazy and awful how many babies get murdered in this movie. If movies have records for such things, this one woudl definatley get "most babies" killed by disciples of Satan.

Last but not least, [livejournal.com profile] eroslane shared a rather unfortunate bit of info tonight. Anyone else get duped by this bitch who made up a lie about her kitten being set on fire??? Like most trolls, she now claimes it was an "experiment". Dammit. I am especially offended because early on in my LJ days, I was given over $200 when my own cats needed to get spayed. H wanted me to get rid of them, and we almost broke up over it. So I for one an horrified that this bee-yotch would take advantage of the good natured in such a way.

It was a lie?! Grr. I had trouble sleeping that night, it upset me that much.

Yeah, I must say I was shocked. Though I forgot to submit to LJ Drama, I really should do that.

OMG, Sam Neill. My friends used to tease me because of my Sam Neill/Final Conflict fears, but for awhile, he was in Everything! Gah!

Yeah, a sexy accented guy with lots of range who occasionally does horror? What's not to like?

Isn't that book based on actual events? ;-)

I always confuse the Final Conflict with The Final Countdown. Sam Neil can be pretty creapy, so I bet he is in that movie. But of course, I've never seen it because I didn't have my good friend [livejournal.com profile] wednes to encourage me to see such crazy movies.

Unbelievable. I just don't even know what to say about that or her or her poor friends...what a mess.

Well, that's all find and anti, but......

Ah, The Final Conflict.

Or, as the cinema marquee read when I saw it for the first time, "The Final Conflicit".

I'm not exactly sure what a "conflicit" is --- maybe kinda like a "dangnabit"? ---- but conflicit entered my lexicon forever with that.

My total recollection of that film is all the priests saying "Dandy Christ" instead of "Anti-Christ". Oh, and an ironing board.

"Oh no! It's the Dandy-Christ! He evil!"

*hahahaha*

To this day, I never say "anti" --- I always say "Dandy".

Now you know.
