But before I nap...

We looked at apartment all crapping morning and bought groceries all stupid afternoon.

Our last chance for a nice apartment is Pheasant Run, and we should hear by tomorrow if they will accept us. Sadly, SafeRent (R with circle) will not approve us because we don't use credit cards or have car payments or own anything that's like colateral. Um...if I owned a house why in hell would I need to rent an apartment?

And if we're having this much trouble getting a place, just imagine how clients at the homeless shelter are doing. It is so difficult to find affordable housing in a safe part of town.

But man...I really want this place. It is slick. Two large bedrooms, balcony (actually we'd be on the ground floor) and the grounds are very clean and nice. And we'd have room for an excersize bike even though there is one in the clubhouse. I'd love to have an indoor pool to work out in. We fat gals love underwater excersize you know.

My new self improvment project will be learning to become more patient. That's what I'm working on with my therapist as of late. I am very quick to anger...well, more like quick to extreme annoyance at loud noises, kids crying. Especially when I'm sober. I wanted to smack this loud, screaming kid at meijers today. Just sitting there in the cart screaming for no reason; mom just pushing the along, picking out sugary cereals. So I'm like "Gosh, that's not annoying at all..." in a loud voice. But that kind of thing embarasses H. Somehow though, the kid shut up after that.

So I guess I have some kind of awesome mind power over children.
They shall become my unholy army of the damned.
Right after my nap.

Don't know if this helps or not, but when we were trying to qualify for the home loan, we had to establish some sort of credit history for Whitewolffe. She has no credit cards or payment history, at least not in the usual fashion, so her credit report had no score. What worked in the end was a year's worth of utility bills. We've always had them in both our names, and always paid on time. The bank considers this acceptable for creditworthiness. Rent payments are the same deal, at least they were here.

That's what's so strange about it, H has had utilities in his name for years, and has an excellent rental history.

Anyway, I think at this point we'll be okay. We'll find out tomorrow I guess.

Hey, my sister used to live at Pheasant Run (until very recently)! :) Cool place.

They seemed pretty cool, the staff I mean.

Of course everyone is nice to you when they're trying to get you to lease with them.

It's hard to take over the world without enough sleep.

Good luck with the apartment. And I mean it this time!

The apartments are great, and they seem like they want to work with us to get us approved.

Since they use the same approval system as everyone else, we were declined. But they are trying to get us an approval that requires over $1000 security deposit. So between that, and paying the movers, and all that there, it will cost us a lot of money to move.

But it will be worth it to have a place that swank.
It's basically the same floor plan as Roundtree but the bedrooms are bigger.

We also looked at Hidden Valley, which was really expensive and kind of a dump.
