Whoops!

I missed the LOST recap as well as the new Smallville.

Anything I need to know?

No.

Not that I've actually seen the show at any point over the year.

Damn...I needed to know that you are missing the best new show of the season. If only so I can nag you about it.

Yeah, well Smallville hasn't been on for a while, and my TV no longer picks up the channel that Lost is on.

The Lost recap had zero new information, though the radio message Boone heard in the dangling plane two episodes ago more clearly says, "WE'RE the survivors of Flight 502." Looks like they tinkered with the audio.

Indeed, I watched that ep with subtitles which said "there were no survivors of flight...whatever the flight number is.

Clark forgot everything, and then did some stuff, but then everyone forgot everything that everyone remembered, except lex, who did some evil stuff. But nobody remembers it but Lex. So in effect, there is nothing to remember. Oh wait, except for Lana who went around being an annoying bitch, but since that's nothing new, no.

[identity profile] wednes.livejournal.com 2005-04-28 11:54 am (UTC)(link)
Annoying bitch?!?

Lana Lang???

hahahahaa.

[identity profile] sudrin.livejournal.com 2005-04-28 03:11 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, it just made me sad that "Memory Lost" Clark was still agog over Lana even without his Memory. I mean can Lois get a little action.. Please? She's obviously the better choice!

[identity profile] wednes.livejournal.com 2005-04-28 03:59 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm not sure I agree with you there. Lois is rude and distainful about everything without ever having shown herself to be superior to the things she derides. Plus, she's a total dog compared to Chloe.

[identity profile] sudrin.livejournal.com 2005-04-28 04:16 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, now Chloe is a different matter I agree, however nothing seems likely to point Clark in THAT direction.

[identity profile] wednes.livejournal.com 2005-04-28 04:21 pm (UTC)(link)
Whoda thunk Superman could be so dense?

[identity profile] sudrin.livejournal.com 2005-04-28 04:35 pm (UTC)(link)
I used to harbor the secret hope that Chloe was in fact the "Real" Lois Lane and she just changed her name when she move to Metropolis. I mean not like that's the most clever idea ever, but it is SMALLVILLE we are talking about, so it at least seems possible. I do think that the Lois/Clark combination of this season has a quite a bit of chemistry. Maybe because they don't like each other so much, but after season after season of the Pine for Lana thing, it was nice to hope that Clark had actually started looking other places for a little lovin. There was ONE magical moment in last nights episode between Chole and Clark that really made me wish they had a little more "Team" activities, but of course the writers put the kebosh on that pretty quick.

[identity profile] wednes.livejournal.com 2005-04-28 04:47 pm (UTC)(link)
I had the same hope. I literally cheered when she told the guy at the Planet to print her story with Lois's name. But no...they had to go and bring out a "real" Lois.

I taped Smallville, and haven't watched it yet. So, If you want I can hold on to the tape for you. Kim told me that Clark is pursuing Lana again, and that Lana is going to give the relationship a shot. This time it's Clark's own fault when his heart gets broken. He should know by now that Lana is way too wrapped up in herself to have an adult relationship. And Cloe is right there!

[identity profile] wednes.livejournal.com 2005-04-28 02:14 pm (UTC)(link)
Nice. I'll hopefully see you this weekend. If Ryan comes out on Saturday, I'm coming along. if he has to wait until Sunday, I have to stay home and tape TV.

[identity profile] fflo.livejournal.com 2005-04-28 02:17 pm (UTC)(link)
I saw it! I hadn't seen any of the show so far. A co-worker fan this morning had to tell me that the bald guy had been in a wheelchair, and about his flashback to the Australia trip.

The Iraqi guy is hot.

Now I'm wishing I hadn't watched, cuz I'm all interested, and I just signed up for a Wed. night swim class starting May 11...

That's my the good lord invented VCR's.

Man...it's such a fine show!

I loves Hurley. (the fat guy)

[identity profile] fflo.livejournal.com 2005-04-28 03:36 pm (UTC)(link)
Well I've just heard that I missed all kindsa back story about characters, and I'm especially curious about Hurley. Suppose I can research these folks online? Any favorite things about his story you'd like to share?

[identity profile] wednes.livejournal.com 2005-04-28 04:03 pm (UTC)(link)
In truth, all the main characters have really excellent back stories. I'd reccomend checking out the episode guide at TV tome. I think they do the most thorough job catching me up with things I missed.

[identity profile] fflo.livejournal.com 2005-04-28 04:27 pm (UTC)(link)
cool! ty, w

[identity profile] sudrin.livejournal.com 2005-04-28 02:29 pm (UTC)(link)
And another thing.. Like Lost hasn't done enough FLASHBACKS without doing an ENTIRE FLASHBACK SHOW?

[identity profile] wednes.livejournal.com 2005-04-28 02:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Ah well, it's still the best new show of the season.

Although I'm beginning to worry that we'll go thru the season finale and not get any real information. Plus I think the line change on the radio transmission was sneaky and poorly executed.
