I feel like I'm taking crazy pills!

H hipped me to THIS crazy article. I don't know whether to be impressed or terrified. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Going to see Hitchikers Guide tomorrow since I have the line on sneak preivews due to my fine connections. Decided not to reread anything beforehand. Don't have much luck with refreshing on the book, then seeing the movie. And for that, I blame "Harry Potter 3".

Next week I ahve to do some kind of crazy, 3 part evaluation of my skills and interests. All these tests are getting to be a real drag, but I don't have a whole lot of choice as it could lead to some sweet employment, which I need. Plus I have to find a ride to Ypsilanti Mon, Tues, AND Weds, like that's not going to be a huge problem. I'm hoping this chick in my group will lend me a hand, she's always offering to drive me around and is very much a "day person".

I notice that some of you don't have your birthday in your user info. That means you don't show up in LJ Birthdays. As such, I will not be held responsible if I forget your special day.

Does anyone know who the hell this robot is, or in what context I would/should know him from?

Marvin
You are Marvin

What popular robot are you?

That robot is Marvin from the BBC television version of HHGTTG.

Yes shit. The BBC version was released back in the early 80's. 1981 I think. I like the Newer version of him better.

You'll meet him at the movies, I'm sure.

Yeah, I get it now.

Silly me.

That's no robot, that's an android!

[identity profile] wednes.livejournal.com 2005-04-27 04:28 pm (UTC)(link)
No wonder I didn't recognize him!

if I have nightmares about the article, I'm blaming you.

Dude! It wasn't me, it was H.

Not only is that Marvin from the BBC version of The Hitchhiker's Guide, I hear he has a cameo in the new one as well.

[identity profile] wednes.livejournal.com 2005-04-27 05:33 pm (UTC)(link)
That'll be sweet.

I guess I found out in the nick of time, since I'm seeing it tomorrow night!

The new Marvin is Warwick Davis with Alan Rickman's voice.

1) Does that mean that humans would soon be able to experience sex without actually doing it?

2) Am I really that lazy?

3) Why is sex the first thing that comes to mind when I read that?

[identity profile] wednes.livejournal.com 2005-04-28 03:51 am (UTC)(link)
1. Presumably

2. Probably not, but laziness wouldn't be the only impacting factor, IMHO.

3. Because you saw my name abovbe the post. Everyone knows you're in love with me. I'm probably the one who gayed you up in the first place. ;-)
