Electricity, Jehovah, and Zombie Preparedness

The power is back on after being out for over 3 hours. I was just about to sizzle up some dinner when the lights flickered a few times, then everything went off.

There was a firetruck outside, along with some of my more clothed neighbors. We discussed how much life w/out power sucked, what we would be watching on TV if there was power, and when the power might come back on. I once again refrained from telling my upstairs neighbor that if there was a zombie invasion my plan was to kill her and take her much more defensible apartment. I mean, I'd give her a chance to just give it to me and H, but most people don't really give thier stuff away when asked.

Anyway, power is back on and everything not connected to the TV seems to be working fine. I have no clue how to work all of Ryan's TV related hoo ha...so I'm not touching it. Luckily, there was nothing good on tonight, as I'm sure as hell NOT sitting thru that Locust movie.

Since I had some of those electrical candles from Madstone, I was able to finish reading Lamb by Christopher Moore, who is rapidly becoming my new favorite writer. This one is the gospel of Jesus' life according to Biff, Christ's childhood pal. It was a long, entertaining read. I must get my hands on more of his books. Plus, he has a blog!!!

youll want to check the day of the show cause
guests have a way of cancelling @ the very last second
(in other words: cons have a way of advertising ppl they
havent really confirmed so they can sell more tickets
prior to the actual show)
:\

Thanks. I'll be sure to do that.

Would you beleive I've never actually been to a horror convention before?
