Guess what happened...!
I'll bet you can't guess, because if you knew my life that well, I'd have you picked up for stalking. Unless you are Uterdic, in which case let me tell you more...
The chick I was supposed to interview with Friday called back this morning around 9:30. As I was high and baking this coconut chocolate almond cake I was thinking about baking all weekend, I was up for her call.
She will reschedule with me later this week. So employment may yet be mine.
Bwaaah ha ha ha ha HAAAAAA!
As for the cake, I used a Martha Stewart recipe then substituted half the butter for Apple Sauce (because geez, who needs that much rich creamery butter). I slopped all the batter into a bundt (circle with R in it) pan. After 10 minutes in a 350 oven, the batter promptly leapt out of the pan and distributed itself all over the inside of my oven.
After an hour of waiting for the oven to cool, pouring the batter into different pans tht had to be re-buttered and re-floured, I had to reheat the oven and let cake cook for 45 minutes, only after I scraped off all the burnt stuff with a spatula. Results: damn yummy! And now I have a whole bunch of cake and no one to share it with. you know what that means...CAKE FIGHT!!!
Bye.

You skipped the double dare and went right to the next level
Re: You skipped the double dare and went right to the next level
And yes, I do occasionally commit the "slight breech of etiquette" known as skipping a dare level.
I hope everyone is cool with that.
