Wheee! Harry Potter!

Wow! What a great film! Those Malfoys are so bad, the Griffyndorr's so good! Everyone flying around and doing magic, kids yelling and screaming and Dumbledore being so cool...Snape being so mean and dastardly (although i feel they could/should do a lot more with him...next time).

I wanted more Quiddtich, more of the professors, and less of that this-movie-is-running-long-we-need-to-get- thru everything... kind of feeling. Because the movie was awesome, but they smooshed a lot of cool stuff into what was a lengthy movie, but should have been another 30 minutes or so longer. But it was still awesome. i don't think they showed Mrs. Norris after she wakes up, though. And more of nearly Headless Nick.

So I guess the problem I have with Harry Potter characters is that I love them too much, and want to see lots and lots of them. And Fawkes...Fawkes was pretty awesome. And Moaning Myrtle, she's a good one.

And if you don't know what I'm talking about...it seems you have some reading to do.

Chew on this?

I hated the first Harry Potter movie. Although not as much as I despise Willy Wonka.

Yes, yes, you're so cool in your distain for all that is popular. shouldn't you be out bidding on a laserdisk copy of Wet, Hot American Summer?

ha ha, My wrath is swift and mighty for those foolish enough to insult Harry Potter. It's the most mainstream thing I've ever loved.

There isn't a laserdisc available, but then again I do own a copy of the nonexistent soundtrack. Oh,yeah, let me know when the sting of that comback wears off. I did see the new HP tonight and must say it was a lot better than the first. Except the phoenix, that looked like shit throughout the whole movie. I kept asking for it to look more like a puppet.

Moaning Myrtle wasn't nearly loud and whiny and easily set off enough. She bitched and complained enough for everyone to stop using that restroom, and she didn't do that much.
