im 1/2 glad i didnt get to submit my script this time
& 1/2 very very unhappy cause i had no idea they
were accepting genre pieces (i think mine might
have had a chance).

I probably will keep watching as well. But just that first ep explains the problem with 95% of films to come out of Hollywood.

what really burns my ass is:

*they FLAT OUT say the script is shit but pick it anyway

*they pick the best director & wont let him work the way he needs to
(ill give them that he does need to communicate a little better)

the WORST part for me is that now ive realized this whole show
is just like any other reality show & is all about who/what will create
the most drama. the ONLY reason they picked gulager is that theyre sure
the way he works will cause problems & friction & thats what (they think)
ppl want to see - as opposed to picking him cause he is the most talented.
its so fucking depressing.

i like gulager & i dont blame him for wanting
to cast ppl hes worked with, even if it is family.
id like to see more of his original stuff.
the little they showed was really fascinating.
i hope this doesnt ruin him & that he gets a
chance to work on more pictures.

also: dont you just want to KICK marcus
in the teeth every time he busts out with
that ANNOYING AS FUCK giggle?

I like Wes Craven. Not as much as I like Tobe Hopper (Texas Chainsaw...yum), but Cursed actually didn't suck. He hasn't lost it yet. At least not completely. Music of the Heart was awful, yes, but for the most part, Wes is doing okay. Ben and Matt and Project Greenlight can blow me, however.

Actually, if you watch the premiere, you'll hate Miramax at the end of it. Bastards!
