Turbo Tax saved my life!!!

Well, not really. But my taxes are filed and all is well...



...for now.

My meeting with the guy at the job place went well. I have to go to some kind of 4-hour assessmant next week to see what I'm qualified for and what kind of skills I have that are marketable. Plus I'm applying at FIA tomorrow and seeing the doc. People have been helping me tremendously with rides and money and support to help me get thru all this stuff I have to do. It is amazing how much more a person can deal with if they have some loving support from friends.
I just wish I'd started when I first lost my job instead of once my unemployment had run out. But things are rolling right along for me, so I daresay it will all be better soon. And now, I'm off to my meeting, then back here to watch all my fave shows.

Tonight Smallville deals with the aftermath of the death of Dr Swann. LOST is finally the backstory of Jin and Sun, and Law & Order is all new, though I can't imagine it will outshine last weeks SVU (which never quite addressed the fact that Munch and Fin weren't told Cabot was still alive either) which rocked.


I am paranoid.

Yeah, even though things are moving along in a slow and tedious manner, my day to day life is surprisingly good. And I'm getting on track to do some things I've been meanning to do for 10 years, albeit in an institutional type setting.

I'm not thrilled to be getting a bridge card and soforth, but in the long run I think it will be best for a little while.

Anyway, I'm glad I could brighten your day! ;-)
