Help Help Help!

okay kids,

I need ideas for cheap/free Valentine's Day gifts for H.

H is great, so he deserves something cool.
But I am broke.

Ideas--you got 'em, I need 'em.

So, cough 'em up.

Please?

sex, chocolate, weed, beer, bake him a cake. nothing that involves hearts unless its a cows from the butcher shop, those are always good for a laugh

Baking a cake was on my list.

Lamentably, H doesn't drink or smoke weed.

I'm making folks mixedtapes, hand-made cards...and, I got some candy today-heart shaped cream savers and some assorted, wrapped, chocolates- to put in some, (as yet un-designed), hand-made candy-holding-type-boxes.

Nice.

I will probably make a nice card. Our printer is broken, so it'll be low-tech.

aw shit.
these need a printer:

youve probably already seen them anyway.
:(
maybe print them out @ the library if its close?

Oh nice!

[identity profile] sudrin.livejournal.com 2005-02-10 09:48 am (UTC)(link)
You know what a good Valentine gift is? A girl. They are soft, and cuddly and smell nice... and oh look, you already have one of those! ;-)

[identity profile] wednes.livejournal.com 2005-02-10 03:24 pm (UTC)(link)
*sniffs*

Hey, I DO smell nice!

[identity profile] sudrin.livejournal.com 2005-02-10 08:23 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, maybe I'm too pragmatic (or I've been single too long, its one or the other) but it seems to be the simple genuine stuff between couples is the best part of Valentines Day. Not some elaborate gift giving thing. That's what Christmas is for. ;-)

[identity profile] wednes.livejournal.com 2005-02-10 08:48 pm (UTC)(link)
That's true. He certainly doesn't want anything fancy. He tells me he's fine with getting "nothing but smooch", and he means it. That's so cool, it makes me want to get him something great, you know?

Of course you do, you just bought your mom an $80 waffler!

Wait, that didn't come out quite right.
but I'm sure you know what I mean.

[identity profile] sudrin.livejournal.com 2005-02-10 08:50 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, I am blessed with a big of disposable income. But you know, I might trade it for someon to smooch on Valentines Day. ;-)

[identity profile] wednes.livejournal.com 2005-02-10 08:54 pm (UTC)(link)
Actually, I don't think those girls like to be kissed.

;-P

[identity profile] sudrin.livejournal.com 2005-02-10 08:55 pm (UTC)(link)
Hahaha.. Yeah, I think that's the problem! ;-)

[identity profile] endgame.livejournal.com 2005-02-10 11:47 am (UTC)(link)
A massage, done by you!

[identity profile] wednes.livejournal.com 2005-02-10 03:25 pm (UTC)(link)
Not bad. ;-)

[identity profile] reinventedmuse.livejournal.com 2005-02-10 12:00 pm (UTC)(link)
cook for him, make him special coupons for things like massage, food, pot...etc.. write him a poem, watch something with him that he would normally watch by himself, a foot rub, breakfast in bed.. i dunno..thats prolly what i would do if i had a sweetie one or a combination of the above things..

[identity profile] wednes.livejournal.com 2005-02-10 03:25 pm (UTC)(link)
You know, I did the coupon thing last Valentines...would you beleive he never redeemed a single coupon?

[identity profile] madush69.livejournal.com 2005-02-10 01:42 pm (UTC)(link)
You could take him to a movie between open & 6pm on the 14th.

[identity profile] wednes.livejournal.com 2005-02-10 03:26 pm (UTC)(link)
Ah, nice!

Are you getting anything good?

[identity profile] ex-jenniepan481.livejournal.com 2005-02-10 04:02 pm (UTC)(link)
give him head, cook for him, make valentines out of construciton paper and magazines, pick him flowers, clean out his car, striptease!!!

[identity profile] raggedrose.livejournal.com 2005-02-10 07:54 pm (UTC)(link)
Do you have cool sunsets?
Take him out to see one, then take him home, feed him well, and give him the gift that keeps on giving...

[identity profile] wednes.livejournal.com 2005-02-10 08:45 pm (UTC)(link)
and give him the gift that keeps on giving...

Mcdonalds gift certificates?

Why didn't I think of that? ;-)

Actually he might like the sunset since I never want to go out walking with him. Good idea!

[identity profile] raggedrose.livejournal.com 2005-02-13 10:25 pm (UTC)(link)
LOL!
It does fit the parameters...

[identity profile] man-bites-dog.livejournal.com 2005-02-10 09:24 pm (UTC)(link)
Peanut butter and a straw. Done.

[identity profile] wednes.livejournal.com 2005-02-11 05:37 am (UTC)(link)
Wow...if I could just think of a way to incorporate some Pop Rocks...

*runs off merily*
