Productivity

I was quite productive today, even though it was my day off.

Went to the mall to buy new pins for my jacket at Hot Topic. I got some tiny pins from Simpsons, that show various characters from Treehouse of Horror eps. Sweet.

Then I saw Amy's Orgasm and Mostly Martha at the Madstone. Fun fun fun, because its costs me nothing, I get FREE soda and popcorn, and I got to feast my peepers on my Hot Hot boss. Both films were quite good. Although it still irritates me how many mall shoppers are horrified that we have a movie with the word Orgasm in it. God help them if we ever show a movie about a Titmouse.

Later, I went with a co-worker to KOOL 107FM to make a short demo to give the hiring guy at the station. He should be getting my stuff this week, and hopefully calling me for an interview.

I'm off now, to make H some Manwiches. I should make him a better dinner since he is getting my stereo fixed. But I'm not since he's the one who bought me a broken stereo.

There's pornoagraphy on wednes' comment page. To whom do I report this?

Well, anyway, good luck with the Kool 107 thing. Did they or someone else tell you what they want to hear on that demo tape? Cuz I know there's a certain format for those things-- the end of this song, then a liner and maybe an intro of the next song, then the end of another song, followed by the weather, etc. I forget. It's been seven years since I went to Specs Howard. That's cool (or should I say, Kool) that they let you do the demo tape right there. So I wuz sayin', good luck and all that stuff. That would be a pretty goddamn awesome gig.

Thanks,

Yes, my demo has all the requisite stuff. I made it in the studio because one of my co-workers engineered and edited for me. It was like I was a true vocal talent, until I played it back anyway.
It sounds fine, I just have to get sued to hearing myself again.

Yeah, the gig should be fine. I love my theatre job too though...very, very much.
