Cut it out!

Okay, I have heard from no less than 5 people about how "awesomely fucked up" last nights ep of Law & Order SVU was. However, since H was home and Ryan was not, i did not acheive the majority vote needed to watch. As such, I won't be seeing it until the replay on Sunday. So for goodness sake, stop trying to tell me about it.
That said, I should have no such problems watching LOST, and the new ep of "regular" Law & Order tonight. That scary-ass polar bear is coming back, I just know it! Speaking of Law & Order, I was checking TV Tome to see what's the dilly-o with Trial by Jury. It seems that they are still planning to go ahead with the show, and may even air the eps that Orbach had already shot before his death (obviously). The cast is pretty crazy as well.

Not weeping enough at the movie theatre? Maybe this'll help. I don't like Julia Roberts, but at least I won't have to look at her big, bird shaped head in this movie! And Steve Buscemi as Templeton the rat is truly inspired casting.
In other moviespeak, am I the only one who thinks the new Fantastic Four trailer was predictable and lame looking? It just looks like a big wad of explosions and CGI effects. I know that's tough talk from someone who likes the Spiderman movies as much as I, but I think this one is going to be a big pile of nothing. I'm just glad I didn't have to sit thru Elecktra to find that out!

One of my buddies took me to the head shop last night (for those who don't know 42 degrees is the best pipe shop in all of Ann Arbor) to get a new piece. I didn't really need a new piece, as I had gotten some lovely ones as gifts this Christmas. But since my buddy had given me the glass pipe I use most often and he wanted it back; he took me to pick out a new one for myself. So I looked for one with a flat bottom to prevent rollage, large carb and inhale-holes for easy cleaning, a comfortable size and shape. It's actually very cute, and had a long, sparkly stripe on one side. Therefore, it shall be known as "Mister Sparkle" Kudos to anyone who recognizes that as a Simpsons reference, fishbulb! And speaking of pot. Pic of the new piece is forthcoming, BTW.

I have no idea why, but I kind of want this.

I leave you with this enormous pack of lies:

is that new Charlotte's Web movie animated or is it the latest trend of making live animals talk...or since someone from Chicken Run is working on it, is it claymation?...Charlotte's Web was one of my favorite books as a kid, but there's already that animated movie...

and I totally get the "Mr. Sparkle" reference...cool name!...I have a Mr. Sparkle t-shirt, actually...perhaps I shall wear it today (with other layers to keep me warm, of course) since I don't have to work and be all that presentable...

I believe it is computer animation in the vein of Finding Nemo.

They say that Charlottes Web is the best selling childrens book of all time. That's pretty amazing. I have a HVS of the old Charlottes Web around here somewhere, with Paul Lynde as Templeton. Good stuff.

I predict that F4 will be a gigantic flop which will herald the end of the Marvel attempts to make every superhero movie they can before they run out of money again era. The Thing looks unconvincing and the "1 will be bad 4 will be... fantastic" makes me want to hurt someone.

I heartily concur.

The last attempt to make a "Fantastic Four" movie was so bad that it never made it to theatres or video. You can only get bootlegs at comicons, that I am aware of.

Well, Roger Corman movies are kind of an acquired taste anyway, if indeed that is the movie to which you refer. There are copies availible on ebay.

This new CW movie will only serve to make me miss Paul Lynde more.

I certainly can understand that POV. He was a right old bastard, but a very entertaining man.

Have you ever seen A&E's biography of him?
Most illuminating.

Oh, I had no idea that show existed, but would totally watch that.

Disclaimer: Buscemi makes a good, if distant, second choice for Templeton.

Everybody, now:

Law and Order SVU was great. Pretty weird, okay, really weird, but still great. :P
