Oh yeah, and Me
Just a few short words about what's going on with me. Monday during business hours I'm going to call that lady that stood me up for our phone interview on Friday. I have never been stood up for an interview before and I am choking on my own rage, here.
I will also try for a few more retail gigs in my omnipresent search for a job I would want to go to day after day.
The problem is, I am dilligent about sending resumes, doing callbacks, doing all the right things. and I find that many employers do not even bother to say "thanks for applying, wel'll let you know" or "We've filled the position, no need to call back", or even "fuck you, we don't want you, go home and go back to bed." I've had people say "oh, I really want to talk to you, I'll call you back in 15 minutes", then I never hear from them again. I just think some common courtesy would be nice.
Plus I'm going to try and convince H to take me to see Minority Report. Wish me luck!
And lets not forget the full moon with the lunar eclipse tomorrow. That will be some big, chanting, dancing fun. and I am stoked for that because i had to sleep thru most of the solstice. Have a swell day everyone!
