Phoney Mc Ring Ring
I didn't sleep much last night. Bad dreams again, but at least they didn't involve Larry Drake as a murderous Santa Claus. Damn, that's so scary!
In a little while I'll be having some leftover Christmas dinner for lunch. We had walnut crusted tilapia and a mushroom rice dish i made with chicken stock. Yummy. And I made some spicy cheese sauce and veggies for H. But I accidentally made it too spicy for myself, whoops. After lunch, i'll be throwing together a chocolate cherry cake. Sad to say, I think my round layer cake pans got rusty and I had to toss them out. Now I can't make pretty layer cakes. I think once I get back to work I'll replace them with silicone pans. Anyway, there is a handful of peeps stopping by for Boxing Day today, so that will be nice. cmdavi_70 will be here on thursday next, and staying thru my NYE party. A lot of you have not RSVP'd regarding that, BTW.
I'll have to spend some time figuring out the features on my new phone. H got me a new phone and a new plan from Cingular. It's another Nokia phone, which I like. I dropped my old phone a bunch of times and it still worked. To me that's much more important than say, a flip screen or camera. H also got me some custom rings: Tales From the Crypt, Voodoo (which if you don't know is a Godsmack song), The Godfather Theme, and Dead Milkmen's Punk Rock Girl. As soon as we figure out the problem with the download, I'll also have Law & Order ring. Plus it's about 30% smaller than my old phone. I wouldn't want it to be much smaller though, that would just be silly. Some phones I notice are just stupidly small...like Zoolander small.
Just to be complainy, I'll have to point out that no one got me the Enviroscape I most wanted. So I might have to go ahead and buy that myself. Of course, I also did not get Shaun of the Dead, which is a must have. Of course, if I wait a few weeks, I should be able to pick that up used for about $14 at Blockbuster. Wheee! I seem to like Blockbuster a lot more now that I don't work there.
I finally switched my LJ to the S2 style. But I'm not really slick enough to figure it all out. I can't figure out how to change how many entires on my journal page, or my friends page. Plus I'd like to be able to add a background pic and tweak the colors. I wish I was more computer savvy. But when I tried to read the directions, I couldn't even tell how to find the right section to tell me what to do. So I may switch back to the S1 style, just because I know how to customize it.
