Pleasant media Related news:

H's extended copy of Two Towers is finally here, along with *ahem* his NaNoWriMo T-shirt. He thought that was funny.

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince will be out this July 16, and it's 40% less if you order it from amazon.
What kid has $30 to buy a book anyway?
I was pretty sure we'd get the 4th movie before the 6th book. Glad to hear that's not the case.
Next year will be HUGE for Harry Potheads everywhere!

Shaun of the Dead came out on DVD today.
Fie on me for not being able to afford it.
As soon as that long haired projectionist pays me back, I'll be picking it up.
Unless of course I get it for Xmas.

Dead Like Me is getting canceled!

Meet the Fockers starts tomorrow!
I really REALLY hope it's good and funny.

Plus, Happy Yule to all my Pagan pals!

It's not exactly Ben Stillers best work, but I do find him hilarious. Yeah, it's pretty funny. Not Analyze This funny, but certainly funnier than Something About Mary.

Zoolander is probably my fave!

I haven't yet seen Zoolander. Stiller's not bad, and DeNiro's quite often impeccable, but the over-the-top slapstick, especially in the second half (of MTP)gets old, and I don't find the name "Fockers" quite as rip-roaring hilarious as the filmmakers do. Still, I'm coming from the standpoint of going out to see movies once or twice a month and being ultra-picky(not to imply that you're not). I've been "meaning" to see Motorcycle Diaries for about 5 weeks now. I've been "meaning" to see Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind for most of the year. Stiller's just not high on my list right now.

Well God gosh! If you still haven't seen Eternal Sunshine, what the hell are you doing talking to me?!?

Actually, I am pretty discriminating when I pay. But when I don't, I'm much more open minded. I would never have paid for Oceans 12 for example, or Resident Evil 2, but I saw them free at the Village.
