civil for sending me my first Yule card of the season. And to princezna who thrilled me with the news that she will be in town for the holidays and I will probably get to see her. Wheee! Further thanks to uterdic who brought me chocolate in the shape of merlions. I am assuming he got them in Singapore, on his lunch break or some such. And finally thanks to pak_man78 and lickingtoad for joining us for Smallville and that crazy ep of Law & Order that revisted people from the very first season. And for bringing me a cheesburger, Me likee.
I'm at the shelter tonight, and every Thursday this month except the 23rd. I said I would work Christmas Eve since I don't have crap else to do that day and they couldn't find anyone else to cover it. I imagine everyone at the shelter will be in terrible moods. Speaking of the shelter, we still desperately need blankets, scarves, mittens, gloves and hats. Do let me know if you have any of these things you can donate. For my part, I will be crocheting very soon.
Moving on to things that irritate and annoy, I'm angry and stupefied that someone would shoot a musician dead in the middle of a show. And in Ohio, no less. I salute you, Dimebag! I'm also pretty bummed to be hit with the realization that Dick Clark might not be around much longer. There's no such thing as a minor stroke!
On a more mundane topic, it annoys me greatly that with all my bitterness and sarcastic flair, I let someone else beat me to inventing this. And finally, it annoys me that one of my favorite sodas: Canada Dry Cranberry Ginger Ale, is only around for like 2 months out of the year.
