Marriott

As far as I can tell, the interview was a big waste of time. The guy seemed to like me, and told me to call him back in a week if I haven't heard from him. But he also said he really wanted someone with hotel expereince. What was the point of having me come in to interview in the first place, if he already knew I didn't have the experience he wanted? So there's $10 in cab fares I'll never see again. Frown. It's too bad too, they are union and offer Blue Cross.

I'm going to Liberty Video tomorrow to talk to their hiring guy. If I don't get that job, i'm really going to start having a panic.

In the late 80s very early 90s I worked as a Housekeeper at a Marriott. If they will hire a boy to clean rooms with an all girl staff, they don't "Need someone with hotel experience". Granted, the job almost gave me a nervous breakdown..

I got my job back at the Dillard House!!! Yay!! That place pays really well. Why do I tell you this? Well, if I can get a job, you can too! Don't give up hope. Any company that doesn't hire you is just missing out.
