What a nice day it has been thusfar.

My whole apartment smells fabulous due to the yummy blueberry oatmeal bread I'm making to take to the gethering as Cas' de fflo. I hear she is even decorating, which I never do when i have parties. Of course, I wouldn't exactly have to change anything to make my place suitable for Halloween!!

Went out to the mailbox and found many surprises. In addition to my bi weekly cheque from the Land of the Jobless, My long awaited package from fyreangel actually arrived. And man, is it ever sweet!!! There's a blanket, and yarn, and crochet hooks, and candy, a sack of cookies and a nice letter (so few people actually take the time to write letters anymore) and it's all together in a cool plastic suitcase you can see thru. So mad props to you, fyreangel!!!

And then...le mou jouste:

My KenJen autograph arrived today.

Imagine my glee at going out to check the mail and seeing a SASE with a Salt Lake City UT postmark.
It says "Thanks for watching, Wednesday--and every other day!"





I got Zinged by Ken Jennings!!!

And later on I get to dress up like a zombie and take pics of me, lickingtoad (another walking undead), uterdic (I have no idea what he is dressing as, a nerd probably), and pak_man78 whom I can only assume is going as a guy with a new tattoo.

that is such a neat autograph from Ken...hee hee...I feel bad because I totally meant to watch him on Jeopardy, but I think I only managed to watch one episode...then they were playing tournaments and I've just been busy with other stuff, I guess...is his run still playing?...

I was pretty shocked to see it. Actually, one of my neighbors brought it to me, I guess it had been left in the office or something. So it was really cool of him to bring it over.
