Happily, I seem to have mastered the single stich which can be used to make any number of things that one can make out of yarn. So H might well get his camoflage birthday scarf after all! He has been asleep all afternoon. I wish he would wake up and hang out with me, this Dave Chapelle stand up is twice as funny with H here.
And hopefully soon I'll have some new hooks to play around with, if Canada decides it's not a security risk to let me have them. Hahaha! Actually, I have no idea why my package fromfyreangel couldn't be delivered. But I imagine it will be figured out soon so's I can make her something cool. If I really get the hang of this, I'm going to try some hats. I have a pattern book with some really cool hats!
Came home to a big pile of books that my freind Joe brought from Borders for the shelter clients. Lots of fiction and self help books, and some religious stuff that people have been asking for. He also included some stuff just for me, which I thought was damn nice of him. It will be really cool to come in with another sizable donation this week. Joe may be stopping by the Good Adam Gathering we're having next month to celebrategusterize being in town for the weekend. Wheee!
psychswitch tells me that The Grudge is pretty good. It would be cool if he is right, so I might have to check it out this week if I get bored enough. I dont' even know when ryan is coming home, but I damn well hope it is soon. I'm ready to cut my own hands off just to aleiviate the boredom. Hey, maybe I could crochet them back on, since I know a stitch now. Boredom must make me clever...

Have you been to the new Village yet? Their movie selection is not really to my taste, but I have gone twice now. H and I might go see The Grudge this week, just because I love horror movies.
