No one has called to offer me a job or ask me to interview yet. The fools!
The good news is, blankets for the homeless are coming my way, and I should have a whole bunch of them to bring to the shelter with me tomorrow. Yay for that. Hopefully the boss will be around and he'll tell me how he's heard about all the good work I've been doing and how would I like a job? Yes, that would do nicely...
It would also be really cool to work the same schedule as H.
I have what I think is a cool idea for NaNoWriMo. So good in fact, that I'm not going to share it with anyone until it's written. Take comfort in knowing that I will post the occasional tantalizing excerpt, just as soon as I have one. Now that I have some cool ideas and a great ending, I want to get started and am bummed that I have to wait until after Halloween. Maybe i'll go hang out in the forums like some kind of nerd. I should be taking this time to outline the second half of my zombie screenplay, but it's just not coming to me yet. I have a few cool ideas...maybe I'll work on it this afternoon.
The Fugitive is on TV right now, the movie I mean. Damn, that's a gooood movie.
EDIT: I almost forgot to mention that I am down 2 more pounds since my last weighing. Considering that I was not trying at all, that is exciting news. Not only did I buy extra junk food at the store, but I recently discovered that my George Forman Grille doubles as a sandwich press. It's been a melty cheese kinda week for me--and still I'm losing weight. Pretty soon I'll be able to speed walk past chain smokers and cripples ;-)
