At first I was thinking that it was a joke, but then he just. Kept. GOING. Yeeeeesh.
At least he didn't appear to be advocating pre-emptive strikes against the False Prophet and the anti-Christ, or the homeland of Gog. Seemed much more interested in just becoming an atavistic recluse, which, frankly, is just fine with me.
My mom used to scare us with that "End of the world" crap. She used to believe that that the return of christ would be forwarned by the appearance of certain biblical "signs". It used to freak me out. She doesn't talk like that much anymore, thank goodness.

I have to limit the time I talk to my mother for this reason. I have heard doomsday warnings and prophecies my whole life. Do I beleive the world will end? I sure do. Do I know when or how? No idea. I am content in making the best life I can in the present.
