Don't be Afraid of the Dark

As I get older, I have tried to take better care of myself, and live a healthier lifestyle. One of the many changes i have successfully implemented was the almost total elimination of caffienated sodas from my diet. In fact, I reduced a 2-4 litre a day soda habit, to a 1-2 litre a week habit. Yes, thank you. I too was impressed with this rare display of will power on my part. I also switched to diet, caffienne free sodas except on the rare occasion that I would crave a coke or some such.

PepsiCo, I call you out!!!

Every single summer you come out with a new soda to thwart me. First you tantalize me with the promise of caffienne free or "canadian style" Mountain Dew. The only problem is that smokers dying of thirst in the desert wouldn't drink that crap.

But Code Red blew my mind...it was so...cherryliscious. I fell off the wagon and stayed off for an entire month.

Finally I regain control; only to be relentlessly tormented by Live Wire...you can be sure I delighted in its orangy sensation for the better part of yet another summer.

Resolved, I devoted myself to the singleminded task of never again succumbing to your stimulant laden bottles of pure flavor satisfaction. Never again would I "Do the Dew"....Until:
