Why are all the good things so tasty...?
I'm getting some new chairs in a little while. They are wood and black with cushions on the seats. They are free, as they used to belong to my former Heathen Ranch roomate, Steve. Between 1995 and 1997 I lived in a house called the Heathen Ranch amongst 4 guys known affectionately as The Heathens. There was Steve (married), Aubin (moved to California), Evil Matt (went off his nut) and Finster (went off his nut, then moved to California) and me. Ah, me. I miss that me sometimes...
I have yet another job interview tomorrow. It's in the Westgate shopping center at the Vet's office. I learned a few minutes ago that one of my LJ friends is going for the same job. So you know, may the best gal win or whatever. I have a few other prospects in mind, as I just mailed out some more resumes today. Plus you never know, Q16 might still call.
I have to wonder though, why there are almost no bus routes on that side of town. Now that I'm living in Ann Arbor proper, you'd think it'd be easier to find work that's close by. But no.
Didn't make it to Zahns as my cheque is not here yet. I hate having to rely on some unnamed agency to send me cheques instead of picking them up at work like I like. Yeah, I also feel like I only ever complain or talk about movies and cooking anymore. I need some spice in my life...hey, that's almost punny!
LJ Drama is back up and helping me stave off boredom. There is some excellent drama where people flame this girl who types in that online language for idiots. U no wut i meen? Plus she was an idiot. It was pretty choice drama.
Watched Clay Pidgeons last night, well most of it anyway. I love that movie, and I love Vince Vaughn
