Got a call today to see if i wanted to work for Ameritech doing cold calls. First of all, Ameritech is evil and has some of the worst customer service I've ever seen or heard of. Also, if I wanted to do cold calls, I would have applied for the job as it is listed pretty much everywhere job openings are located.
I am at least glad to see that my shorter resume is getting me more hits than the long one. That is good I suppose, I just don't know who these jokers are who keep calling me with crap jobs I didn't apply for. I have 5 months to go on my unemplyment, so I have at least 2 more months in which i won't have to accept a crappy job. And of course my screenplay needs to be finished in that amount of time.

I did apply for a few more jobs today, but it's getting harder to find fresh listings for jobs that anyone would want. I mean, if I wanted to wear a costume and run around the playroom at Chuck E Cheese's, I could start working tomorrow. But I have this sinister plan to retain some dignity...

I also signed up to volunteer at the Shelter Association. They never would hire me to work there, but maybe they will accept my services for free...

H and I are having homemade fish and chips tonight, and onion rings too as long as I have a vat of hot oil sitting around. I thought as long as I'm so bored I might as well trash the kitchen, then clean it later, effectively using up 3 hours of today.

I'm really going to start in on my boss to hire someone to make client calls outside of the office. they are already customers so they only get irritated when we call, not angry. And some of them are thankful.

My dad seemed amiable to paying a role in the movie. I have an audition tape of him for you to see, I couldn't find it on Saturday. But he told me where it is, I'll bring it this weekend.

You should convince H to support you as a house wife.

And if I was a housewife, I'd have to cook and clean and do all...well most of the stuff housewives do. I'd really rather work actually. I like having a current work record.
