Getting to know you's.

I've been thinking about the people on my freinds list, and i've decided it's high time that some of you got to know one another. Here are my opening suggestions:

near_dark I think you and anyone with a love for horror and funny should be reading a_lad_inane. He is consistently funny; and man_bites_dog is always a treat.

I also think spiralwitch, lirrin and civil should all be introduced to one another, since these are some swell pagan gals whom I enjoy very much.

I further suspect that frannyzooey, might very much enjoy reading redheadedokie as much as I do.

And as always, anyone who doesn't read tawdryjones and clockworkmonkey are missing out on some of the best stuff in all of LJ. Of course I have many more suggestions, but this is the bulk of it.

I'm applying for 10 jobs a week or so, though I'm still not hearing back from people. Plus I was supposed to go to the unemplyment place to get some form stamped today. But i'm not walking around alone in the bad neighborhood. Have any of you gotten unemployment before? How important is the form you get stamped? I really have registered for work, I don't see why I have to go there too.
Speaking of unemployment, I don't get my first cheque until 10 days after I call tomorrow. So you file, then they make you wait 2 weeks to call, then they make you wait another 10 days minimum. Who are these people who can go for a month without a paycheck with no damn notice...? It just sucks so bad.

Whoa, it looks like Dodgeball and I have something in common...We both kicked The Terminal's ASS last weekend!!!
I also kicked ass on my diet, as I somehow managed to lose 4.4 pounds in the last two weeks.
I'll credit my new favorite meal, sidedish and snack, grits.

I believe that Terminal is a superior movie even though I have seen neither. My theory is that the Terminal appeals to older movie goers who routinely wait the the crowd to die down before going to see a movie. Whereas Dodgeball appeals to a younger more impulsive crowd.
