Everything Must Go!!!

Just got home from going to the theatre to get my finale paycheque. Big surprise, it wasn't there. Apparently, they are mailing us our final cheques...if in fact they are telling us the truth. I also heard that the enitre Madstone chain will be shut down by the end of the month. I also had to big farewell to my Hot Hot Boss (who was looking totally hot in jeans and a Batman T-shirt); which was both tragic and sad. I basically said that i didn't know what to say, and left just as I started feeling cryful. We were a damn good team, and I will miss us.

On the plus side, it looks like they are going to hrie me part time at The Body Shop. So I'll be able to pick up some hours and still work in the mall. Plus I snagged all manner of theatre spoils. Christmas and halloween decor, my popcorn sings, many posters and mugs, videos, shirts, and office supplies. I have quite a Sharpie collection now. A trash can, and bunch of thermometers and juices and whatever else I could carry. It is all just so sad. But I did get this cool glass cake holder with a lid, I've been wanting one of those forever.

Still seeking the perfect new job. Going to drop off some apps over the weekend.

Wow, thanks for the poster!! :) Not that I have anywhere to put it right now, heh heh...it probably doesn't have Kate on it though, does it? (They didn't have any ESOTSM posters, did they?) Anyway, the Body Shop is hiring?? Do ya know if they still have any other positions available? It seems like it'd be a lovely place to work...

The Body Shop is not officially hiring. they had a part time gal give her 2 weeks notice yesterday, so i talked to the manager, who I know from around the mall. So hopefully that will go my way.

I havent' looked a the poster yet, I just grabbed the cyllinder and put it wiht the rest of my stuff.

Discovery Channel Store is supposed to he hiring later this month. And Barnes & Noble is looking for an assistant manager.
