Evening with Co-Workers 2 (back on the couch)

You know how most sequels suck in comparison to the original? Well, this one did not. And if it doesn't suck, you can be pretty sure there will be a 3rd installment.

A somewhat smaller group of co-workers came over tonight after work. We had food, soft drinks, a little wine, and Dawn of the Dead. A good time was had by all, which is swell. I kept all the booze in an ice bucket in the living room so I could keep my eye on it. I'm somewhat clever that way.

Thanks to everyone for thier great suggestions and supportive comments. You LJ peeps are awesome!!! And as it turns out, so are my co-workers.

And now, I'm off to bed.

Ya know. To be honest, I still believe that if they could've gotten to the alcohol without you seeing it, some of them still wou;d've tried it. But it was a better situation, I agree.

Some people are just too much for me to handle though. One of these days I'm going to snap, and just start telling her how full of shit she is. Got accepted to Johns Hopkins, and Emerson, but instead, chose to go to WCC, give me a break.

Did she SAY that? Holy crap. I didn't hear that, how hilarious...

She is also the reason why the alcohol was kept in the living room, and no one was allowed to hang out in the kitchen, with the unopened wine.

She not only said it last night, but last week too.

Even if that were true (NOT!) it would demonstrate extreeme stupidity and lack of judgment. If I were her (NOT! again) I wouldn't go spreading that around.

"Dawn of the Dead"..... gosh, I haven't seen that in about 15 years. And after all that time, I'm still waiting for "Dusk of the Dead." C'mon, George-- you know you want to.

Anyway, I'm glad everyone had a good time Saturday night. Of course they did-- I wasn't there.

You may not have to wait much longer. After GR was replaced on Resident Evil he did say that the odds were good that he would do a fourth Dead movie.

We can only hope. Between that and House of 1,000 Corpses, my horror-movie experience is one of endless waiting. Although, Red Dragon and One Hour Photo were both quite excellent. Although I would have liked more background into Sy's past in OHP.

And quit being so self-denegrating. Everyone enjoyed your company last time you hung out. It's just that you arent' around often enough for anyone to get to know you, then you bitch that you aren't coming because you don't know everyone. Duh?
