Families, Horus and Dead Comforters
Went to a party for the baby known only as "S", who turned one year old sometime recently. Unbeknownst to me, the party contained Grandmas and Grandpa's and not weed and swearing like the kind of parties i normally would attend. Still and all, it was pretty fun. There was tasty food, including macaroni salad with tuna, a Wednes fave. Later on, there was indeed smokery and fine conversation. N's dad, as it happens, is a fasincating cat who seemed to find me interesting enough to talk to. He seems interested in paganism, politics and um...alternative culture.
Around 9:15 or so, N drove me home. We got on the expressway and i'm like "Oh my God!!!" freaking out becuase I see a dead guy lying motionless on the side of the road. Nate asks if he should pull over and I say yes. He checks the thing out while I watch, talking to H on the phone the whole time. Turns out it was some sort of heavy blanket, but he totally saw what i was seeing...Anyway, then i came home and H and I ordered some food from pizzahouse, which is on its way here now.
Ew, I just noticed I have a giant blob of mustard on my gren dress. I wonder when that got there...how embarassing.
i've said this a million times today already, but I am so pissed i have to work tomorrow!
