Anyone else not know about the Achilles heel?

Not much going on with me. Work was boring and slow. I ended up leaving early so I could come home and watch the Season finale of Law & Order, which was also farewell to Lennie W Briscoe. It was not so sappy, which is good.

H and I have decided to go ahead and spend on a motel for our anniv next month. We'll be there from the 6th thru the 8th. Ryan has graciously agreed to feed the cats while we are gone.

Speaking of cool stuff next month, if the POP's they're sending Madstone are any indication, we are indeed getting Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Which means instead of haivng to pay to see it once, I'll be seeing it many times for free. Wheee! Aparently, we got a big, inflatable Aunt Marge with an air pump of some kind. We're also getting Spiderman 2, and Stepford Wives, plus that turner Classic Series starts soon, which means a whole bunch of Kubrick!

We still couldn't watch Running Man. There is something wrong with the audio of the DVD and it will only play sound on the menu, not the movie itself. Lame.

We seem to have a problem with ants. Those big, horrible carpenter ants.
How does one get rid of those?

Call your leasing office, they should take care of pests.

Yes, but I don't want them in here any more than neccesary since we have an extra cat. I'm not really a fan of strangers in my home.

Plus, since we have cats, I dont' want anyone spraying poison around if I can find something else effective.

ants
I used to use my coke-bottle glasses,
and some help from the sun.

Since you're a big Harry Potter fan, do you think I should
finish the books leading up to POA?, before the movie?
I've only read The Sorcerers Stone.

Definately read the first 2 books. But if you haven't read PoA, you might enjoy the movie more if there are some surprises in it. There are some great twists in this 3rd story.

Big, Inflatable Aunt Marge?!?! ohohohoh. The amount that I want that cannot be measured. I would inflate in on our porch. Forever. Or perhaps I'd just keep it in my room in lieu of furniture.

I hear that. I already asked for it, but I think its the kind of thing we have to send back.

I hate all that Sending Back stuff. So annoying. "Sorry, you can't have this cardboard cutout wall-hanging thing because we have to send it back to the company so they can trash it..." Pffftt. I say fill Aunt Marge up with helium and just float away with her.

I am indeed considering that option!
